Pretty stoked to have a working lens to use that doesn’t require me to be ten metres away from the subject. Also, LCD screen. A luxury I haven’t had for ten weeks; I hope you’re ready for some white balance and some motherfucking fill flash.
Working without the display screen was probably beneficial; you’re more likely to take greater care and take the right shot when you can’t immediately assess the photos you take. It was almost like real photography, the difference is instead of making sure everything is just right for the photo before the fact, you instead take fifty or so photos; odds are one of them’ll be alright.
