I love suspended reward just as much as the next man and last night I was crazy about the idea of getting a camera. But after buying it with the aid of trusted associates I found I had to wait 235 minutes to actually use the damn thing. That’s not suspended reward, that’s just being a jerk.
The pressure to nail the first picture ever was immense. In the end I abandoned any sort of artistic hopes and dreams and just lifted the camera up and took a picture. What a superb precedent I’ve set here.
